I quite like the R33, it’s the last really good looking Skyline. That’s not the unpopular opinion.

What is up with the FP share. I’m getting tired of this “people are out to get car guys” mentality that seems to be showing up around here an awful lot. I think the comment below sums up my thoughts pretty well.

Anyway, I’d drive an R30-R33 Skyline but, I could care less about the R34.

It amazes me that people keep responding to him. I’m barely aware of a lot of things that go on around here, but that one is pretty obvious.

HOA’s are one thing, if you move into a neighborhood knowing there are rules you have nothing to complain about. But the Government probably shouldn’t care about what/how many cars I own. Also:
IMHO the R30 is best Skyline.

I’m not sure, but I suspect that it’s a way to keep people from seeking collector plates because the rule only applies to cars registered as classics/collectors. Kind of like the government saying, “if your cars a collector/classic, treat it like one. If it’s a DD, or a project, give us some money for regular plates.” It’s just a guess though.

If there’s a law in place then the home owner needs to step up and put in the effort to try and get the law changed.
If he isn’t going to put in the effort to get it changed -then tough shit. To this point the represented majority in the area he lives has said they don’t want to see extra cars laying around. It sucks and I don’t agree with it, but it’s on him to step up and try and fight it.

But Fast and Furious bro, R34 is best. Didnt you see it jump a RX7?
Even though I still think the R34 is the best who cares, its my opinion. People like to bash anything thats unpopular, including opinions. Though I do agree with the sediment about not turning you house into a junk yard. But in my opinion its your property do whatever you want as long as its legal.

The government is there to make sure you don’t do things which negatively affect your neighbors, which parking your driveway full of junk can do.

Zoning probably says that the property is residential, so storing junk in the driveway is illegal.

I agree. If they’re not tagged then they’re not “cars” in the eyes of the government. They’re basically scrap metal.

Even if they are tagged.
The current law says -put that shit away. If you don’t have anywhere to put it maybe you should’ve looked up the laws for your area before buying another car. Not knowing the laws doesn’t excuse you from them.
I keep my Montego in the garage, most of the time no one knows I have it. Guy across the street has his late 70's Vette in the garage AND under a car cover.
End of the day his only options are to put them in the garage or fight the law.
Everyone thinks I agree with the laws when I post like this, but that’s thing - it doesn’t matter if I agree with them or not.

“Junk” definitions vary from person to person. You could think someones Datsun 510 is junk, while another person thinks your rusty 1996 Aerostar is junk. Their 510 might be a “classic” and rarely get driven, your aerostar might your kids around perfectly and is paid off. Why does either in youir driveway matter to the goverment?
Neither car is really effecting anyone.

Is it registered and tagged? Then it’s good.

Even though the R34 is what the R33 should have been in terms of performance? Granted, it does share some parts with the 33, if memory serves me right.
But this time, they actually got their act together in a way Gordon Ramsay would be proud of.
EDIT: also, if you’re going to get an eligible R33, I’d try to find one that hasn’t seen so much body fatigue, yadda yadda yadda.
